We are just a bunch of regular people, of all ages, from all walks of life with one thing in common....the love of singing in the barbershop style.
If you enjoy close harmony and good fellowship, you've come to the right place. Don't worry if you don't have a wonderful solo voice and have never sung with a group before. Maybe you can't even read music. Many of us are in the same boat. However if you can carry a tune and have a good ear for music, you're sure to fit in just fine.
One factor contributing to the Barbershop Harmony Society's growth is the knowledge that a member does not need to have extensive musical training to enjoy singing. The Society welcomes into its membership men and women from every walk of life, who enjoy being part of a chord of music, whether it originates from the heart or from a musical arrangement.
The enjoyment of barbershop harmony knows no age boundaries. Our youngest members are in their teens (did you know the Osmond Brothers got their start barbershopping?) and our oldest members are in their 70's and 80's.
